We are currently located in 311 Daniels Hall, College of Engineering. The College is the largest on campus and ranks fifth in undergraduate size nationally. NC State's scholarly community is enlivened by the broad diversity of its faculty and students. Of NC State's total student population of 28,000, its more than 5,500 graduate students, like the graduate faculty, span a wide range of age groups, races, cultures, physical abilities and religious and ethnic backgrounds.

The 623 acre NC State Main Campus lies just west of downtown Raleigh, the state capital. To the south is the 1,000 acre Centennial Campus, the country's first academic/research village, multi-million-dollar complex of classrooms, laboratories and advanced research facilities.

Raleigh is known for its large, plentiful oak trees and is home to more than 286,000 residents. Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill form the three points of the Research Triangle, a world-reknowned center for resesarch, industry, and education, where over one million citizens currently reside.
